When you choose to contribute to the Gathering at Garst you are not only supporting a wonderful event, but also helping us celebrate and preserve our history. The Gathering at Garst was created to remember the defining events and people who shaped Darke County’s history.  Visitors come from everywhere and leave with a positive impression of our hometown, our citizens and our museum.  All festival proceeds benefit Garst Museum.

What can the sponsors expect in return for their financial support?

  • Our advertising campaign is well organized and reaches a broad market. We target an area approximately within a 100 mile radius of Greenville. ​

  • Our event is listed in many tourism brochures and includes our website address.

  • Our website is professionally designed and will showcase your logo if applicable.

  • Advertising on promotional items and possible brochure if funding become available.

  • Mention on radio advertising during public service announcements.

  • Recognition in newspaper and magazine advertising.

  • Tax deduction incentives for support of a non-profit (Garst Museum)

How will the festival committee raise additional monies above & beyond sponsorships?

  • Vendor Spaces will be rented to Artists, Craftsmen, Antique Dealers, Farmers Markets, Garden Related Merchants, Specialty Vendors and Food Vendors.

  • We charge a small parking fee which we split 50/50 with a nonprofit that parks the cars.

  • No Admission Fees will be charged to enter the festival grounds.

  • The normal museum admission fee will still be required to enter the museum.

  • If the festival makes a profit, how will it be used? All profit goes to Garst Museum
